1. The cost-price we paid to register your domain name, as these are charged annually upfront by the service provider. You will keep full access to your account until the end of the billing period.
2. Email service fees (e.g. Google Workspace, Office365), as these are charged annually upfront by the service provider. You will keep full access to your account until the end of the billing period.
3. Any advertising costs spent to promote your business on third-party platforms (e.g. Meta ads, Google Paid ads) if the ad campaigns were already activated and budget spent.

Sure, you can DIY. We all can. If you’ve got a few spare days-to-weeks to learn and get it all set up yourself, be our guest.

But you’re probably here because you don’t have the time for that. 

We’ve built websites for loads of businesses like yours and given training on how to edit content yourself, but we quickly learnt a long time ago that 95% of you don’t care for that. So instead of you having to go through all the BS of learning how to use something new, we include basic website updates as standard with every plan.

What does basic edits mean?

This covers at least 75% of every request we get – that’s why we include it:

1. Any changes to any wording on the site, phone numbers or addresses, new or updated locations etc. If it’s a small change, we can sort the wording. Whilst we are a little flexible, major changes or rewrites may be chargeable, so we may request that you write what you need and send it over.
2. Add images in components you already have.

What’s not included in basic edits:

Here are some examples of what we don’t include, just for clarity, but it’s not limited to these:

1. Custom layout changes or components that aren’t already included in your plan.
2. New pages or blog posts, unless your plan includes portfolio items.
3. Non-specific requests where you ask us “can you rewrite this?”

^ We can do all this, but we’ll have to send you a quote to approve before we do it. This all dives into the world of custom websites, and it’s the norm to have to add on these services.

How do I request a change? 

You just email us with whatever you need and we’ll sort it ASAP. We’ll give you all those details when your site is ready to go as part of your onboarding.

Whilst other website builders and DIY platforms will create a site and call it a day, over time the design gets outdated and they’ll charge you to refresh your designs.

We’ve developed a unique website management system that allows us to push design updates out to all our websites at once, meaning your site gets free access to all new features we release, as well as design refreshes to keep it always modern.

Yes, of course. We’ve built all our plans to level up with you and your business. Whether that means we’re ready to grow, or we’re busy enough, we’ve got solutions to most of your problems that keep you up at night.

You can upgrade to extra bolt-ons to level up, or downgrade at any time.

If you don’t feel like you need us or our tools, you can cancel any time. We don’t believe in lock-in contracts.

Just give us 30 days notice in writing via email via [email protected] and we’ll sort it for you. 

Some of our older plans included email hosting, but we decided to let our clients pick their own provider instead. Here’s a few reasons why:

1. Everyone has their own preference on which email client they prefer (e.g. Some like Google/Gmail, some prefer Microsoft/Hotmail).
2. Business email plans are often paid for annually, and a lot of our customers prefer to pay monthly, so it didn’t make much sense to add complexity to billing cycles.
3. The big tech giants that hold us at the mercy of their services and have to please their shareholders. By that, we mean they raise their prices almost every year, and we hate having to pass that news (and cost) and edit everyone’s subscriptions.
4. Business emails are charged per user, and we work with companies from one-man-bands to almost 3-digit employee numbers, so it just added extra headache for everyone if someone left and we needed to upgrade/downgrade plans.

It makes a lot more sense in almost every way for the billing to go direct to the customers.
